Dingle Original Gin is a distinctive London Dry Gin from Ireland, produced at the Dingle Distillery on the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry. The distillery’s aim was to create a distinctive gin that combines the classic tradition of the London Dry style with selected botanicals from the Irish countryside. In addition to juniper, the blend includes rowan berries, hawthorn berries, orange and lemon peel, and heather, amongst others. The carefully curated blend of botanicals is first macerated in alcohol for 24 hours before distillation takes place. During distillation, the various botanical elements are harmonised into a balanced whole, with classic juniper and fresh citrus notes taking centre stage.


The unique recipe and artisanal production methods have also earned Dingle Gin great international acclaim. At the 2019 World Gin Awards, it was named World’s Best London Dry Gin and also received the overall title of World’s Best Gin 2019. The use of regionally inspired botanicals such as hawthorn, rowan berries and heather forges a link with the landscape of County Kerry and gives the gin a distinctive Irish identity. With an alcohol content of 42.5 per cent, Dingle Original Gin offers sufficient body to allow the juniper, citrus peel and other botanicals to come through clearly, both when enjoyed neat and in classic gin drinks. This award-winning Irish London Dry Gin is bottled in a 0.7-litre bottle.

Finish: Long-lasting, crisp and fresh with lingering citrus notes and a subtle juniper spice.

Dingle Original Gin is ideal for a classic gin and tonic, where a neutral tonic water does not mask the juniper and citrus notes. A lemon or orange zest makes for a perfect garnish, complementing the citrus peel already present in the gin. This London Dry Gin also serves as a versatile base for classic cocktails such as the Dry Martini, Negroni or Gin Sour. On the culinary front, light fish dishes, seafood or Mediterranean starters complement its crisp, citrus-driven profile.
