Rick Limoncello della passione is an Italian-inspired lemon liqueur in which the quality and origin of the fruit used play a key role. The limoncello is produced according to an old recipe, using only hand-picked lemons from the Amalfi Coast. This region in southern Italy, steeped in tradition, is renowned for its lemon cultivation, which forms the basis for this speciality’s Mediterranean character. Particular attention is also paid to responsible farming practices: the lemon growers completely avoid the use of chemical pesticides on the fruit they grow. The careful selection and processing of the lemons allows the characteristic properties of the peel and its intense citrus aroma to be harnessed for the liqueur.


With an alcohol content of 18 per cent, Rick Limoncello della passione is a comparatively mild limoncello, in which the aromatic lemon flavour is clearly the dominant feature. The name ‘della passione’ itself refers to the passion behind the selection of the raw ingredients and the traditional recipe. The combination of hand-harvested Amalfi lemons, a traditional recipe and pesticide-free lemon cultivation forms the key distinguishing feature of this 0.5-litre bottle. As such, this lemon liqueur is aimed particularly at connoisseurs seeking a limoncello with a clear connection to the Amalfi Coast and carefully selected ingredients. Served well chilled, its Mediterranean character comes through particularly well.

Rick Limoncello della passione is best served well chilled and is ideal as a digestif following Mediterranean dishes. It can also be combined with Prosecco and soda to make a Limoncello Spritz, or used as a flavourful ingredient in summery cocktails. Its distinctive citrus freshness pairs particularly well with lemon tart, panna cotta, vanilla ice cream, sorbet or fresh berries. The limoncello can also be used to enhance desserts and cakes.
