Tasting Note

Colour: Depending on the bottling, ranging from clear and pale gold to dark amber and mahogany.

Nose: Varied, with notes of sugar cane, tropical fruits, vanilla and spices, through to ester, woody and toasty aromas.

Palate: Diverse and with an international character, featuring fruity, spicy, dry, sweet and intensely cask-matured notes.

Finish: Depending on the rum, ranging from fresh and fruity to robust, spicy and long-lasting.

The OH HOLY Rum Advent Calendar 2026 is designed for a daily tasting during the Advent season. The 2 cl samples can be tasted at around 18–20 °C in the accompanying nosing glass; for stronger bottlings, a few drops of still water may be advisable. Unsalted nuts, dark chocolate or mild biscuits make ideal accompaniments, without overpowering the different rum profiles. With a selection from 16 countries and the accompanying booklet, the calendar is particularly well-suited for group tastings and as a Christmas present for rum lovers.
