Jack Daniel's 10 Years Old Tennessee Whiskey Batch 05 is an exceptional bottling from the Jack Daniel's Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, presenting this time-honoured Tennessee whiskey with an age statement of 10 years. The 10-Year-Old series draws on the brand’s rich history, during which Jack Daniel's had previously offered whiskies with an age statement. It is based on the distillery’s characteristic production method: after distillation, the whisky is slowly filtered through sugar maple charcoal as part of the Lincoln County Process, also known as Charcoal Mellowing. It is then left to mature for at least ten years in new, charred American oak casks, the influence of which plays a key role in the whisky’s development during the long ageing period.

As Batch 05, this release continues the coveted series of matured Jack Daniel's bottlings. The 10-year-old Tennessee whisky is bottled at a robust 48.5% ABV (97 proof), setting it apart from the classic Old No. 7 in terms of both age and strength. Jack Daniel's 10 Years Old Batch 05 is best enjoyed neat at around 18–20 °C, allowing the influence of the ten-year cask maturation to fully unfold. At 48.5%, a few drops of still water can reveal additional facets; alternatively, a large ice cube is suitable for slow dilution.
