The JP. Chenet Delicious MEDIUM SWEET Moelleux Rouge 2025 is a fruit-forward French red wine from the Pays d’Oc IGP in the south of France. The vineyards of the Pays d’Oc stretch across the Mediterranean-influenced Languedoc-Roussillon region and offer ideal conditions for producing expressive, aromatic red wines. Various winemaking techniques are combined during production. Following several weeks of maceration, temperature-controlled fermentation takes place to specifically preserve and highlight the wine’s fruity character. The cuvée is then aged in tanks, which preserves the wine’s approachable and balanced style.

With an alcohol content of 12.5% in the 0.75 l bottle, the JP. Chenet Medium Sweet Rouge 2025 is a deliberately smooth and semi-sweet red wine. The residual sugar content of 30 g/l provides the characteristic roundness and makes the wine particularly approachable, without masking its fruity character. In the glass, the JP. Chenet Delicious Medium Sweet Rouge displays a deep purplish-red colour with violet highlights. On the nose, red fruits such as redcurrant and raspberry take centre stage, complemented by spicy and slightly jam-like notes. On the palate, this red wine is fruity, soft and pleasantly rounded, with a balanced, supple structure. The finish remains fruit-driven, harmonious and pleasantly lingering.

The JP. Chenet Medium Sweet Rouge pairs particularly well with savoury snacks, a Mediterranean-style snack, and dishes featuring tomatoes, black olives, pesto and mild goat’s cheese.
