The focus is on guava, lemon and pineapple, with the tropical pineapple in particular defining the flavour. The recipe is complemented by Peruvian coca leaves, which lend the gin a delicately tart depth, and by juniper, which preserves the classic gin character. The combination of exotic fruit, citrus freshness and the slightly bitter aroma of the coca leaves creates a distinctive, vibrant style. Amuerte Orange Edition Gin is ideal for a gin and tonic with dry or slightly citrusy tonic water, whilst a slice of pineapple or a twist of lemon further enhances the tropical freshness.
