Ron Espero Caribbean Coconut & Rum Liqueur 40% ABV combines aged rum from the Dominican Republic with intense Caribbean coconut, resulting in an exceptionally robust coconut rum liqueur. It is based on a rum made from molasses, which is aged for around seven years in ex-bourbon casks before being refined with natural coconut extracts. The cask ageing brings vanilla, caramel and subtle woody notes to the blend, whilst the coconut lends it a distinctly exotic and creamy aroma. With a robust 40% ABV, the liqueur has significantly more body than many classic coconut liqueurs and combines sweetness, fruit and spicy rum notes to create a full-bodied overall profile.

The 0.7-litre bottle is versatile both when enjoyed neat and in tropical cocktails, and is available in this version as a gift set complete with a gift box and two glasses. Alongside coconut and vanilla, notes of ripe berries, raisins, nuts and caramel come to the fore, giving the Espero Caribbean Coconut & Rum Liqueur a significantly more complex profile than purely sweet coconut spirits. Espero Caribbean Coconut & Rum Liqueur is particularly well suited to being enjoyed neat at around 15 to 20 °C or on the rocks in one of the glasses provided. In tropical cocktails, it pairs very well with pineapple, lime, orange or coffee, adding an intense coconut and vanilla note. It is also versatile when drizzled over vanilla ice cream, coconut desserts or chocolate desserts. For a simple long drink, it pairs particularly well with pineapple juice and fresh lime.
