Cinzano 1757 Vermouth di Torino Rosso 16 % Vol. combines the Italian vermouth tradition with the centuries of experience of the renowned Casa Cinzano. Its roots date back to 1757, when the Cinzano brothers laid the foundations for this time-honoured brand in Turin. Named after this historic founding year, the 1757 Vermouth di Torino Rosso is produced in small batches according to a time-honoured recipe. It is based on carefully selected Italian wines, which are refined with sugar, caramel and a secret blend of aromatic botanicals. Wormwood from Piedmont, characteristic of vermouth production, plays a special role here, emphasising the regional identity of this Italian speciality.


Cinzano 1757 Rosso bears the Protected Geographical Indication ‘Vermouth di Torino’ and thus represents a time-honoured category of aromatised wines from Piedmont. The careful balance of ingredients gives this bottling its distinctive character and makes it a versatile base for classic mixology. With an alcohol content of 16 per cent in its generous 1-litre bottle, this Italian red vermouth is ideal for both sophisticated cocktails and enjoying neat. Tasting Note

In the glass, Cinzano 1757 Vermouth di Torino Rosso displays a deep reddish-brown colour with warm, mahogany-coloured highlights. On the nose, it reveals an intense, complex bouquet of vanilla, dried figs and subtle notes of wormwood, accompanied by spicy and delicately woody undertones. On the palate, the vermouth is smooth and full-bodied, with a harmonious blend of pleasant sweetness, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon and black pepper. The finish is long-lasting and elegantly bittersweet, with subtle nuances of liquorice, Alpine herbs and a warming spiciness.

Cinzano 1757 Vermouth di Torino Rosso reveals its character particularly well when served well chilled or over ice, ideally with a fresh orange zest as an aromatic addition. As a classic cocktail ingredient, it is ideal for a Negroni with gin and bitter aperitif or a Manhattan with whisky and aromatic bitters. An Americano with bitter aperitif and Sodawasser can also be stylishly prepared using this Italian vermouth.
