Colour: Deep golden amber.

Nose: Intense peaty smoke with notes of dark chocolate, raisins, leather, roasted nuts and spicy oak.

Palate: Full-bodied and complex with smoky malt, sweet sherry, toffee, espresso, honey and a subtle hint of spice.

Finish: Long-lasting, warming and deep, with a perfect balance of peaty smoke, spices and dark fruits.

Ardbeg Uigeadail is perfect for enjoying neat, although a few drops of water open up its aromas even further and highlight its complexity. It pairs superbly with grilled meat, smoked cheese or dark chocolate, which perfectly complement its smoky and sweet notes. It is also an excellent choice as a whisky to enjoy with a full-bodied cigar.
