Only high-quality distillates made from fresh sugar cane juice are used for Ron Zacapa Edición Negra 23; these are matured using the traditional Solera method at an altitude of around 2,300 metres in Guatemala. The rum is aged in double-toasted oak casks, resulting in intense toasted aromas, elegant smokiness and exceptional complexity. The distinctive hand-woven straw band, crafted by descendants of the Maya, symbolises the unity of time and space and was once reserved for the nobility. With a robust 43% alcohol content, this premium Guatemalan rum is particularly full-bodied, smooth and harmonious.
