Description

Akori Gin is a Spanish London Dry Gin, produced by Destilerías Campeny, whose characteristic aroma profile is largely characterized by Japanese-inspired botanicals. Although the name sounds Far Eastern, this gin is produced in Spain and combines high-quality European distilling skills with exceptional exotic ingredients. The basis is a high-quality grain alcohol, which is first macerated with selected herbs, spices and fruits. This is followed by a second distillation, in which the aromas released from the botanicals are firmly anchored in the distillate. When developing the aroma spectrum, the distillery was guided by the Japanese taste profile, meaning that ginger, kumquats and dragon fruit are among the gin's defining components.

This combination gives Akori Gin an exotic, fruity and spicy style that clearly distinguishes it from classic London Dry Gins. Juniper remains noticeable, but is accompanied by fresh citrus nuances, fruity accents and a subtle spiciness from the ginger. At 42% by volume, the gin is clear, modern and aromatically complex. Its special structure makes it suitable for creative cocktail interpretations as well as for classic drinks, to which it adds a distinctive, exotic twist.

This Akori gin is ideal for innovative gin & tonic variations with citrus zest, kumquat or fresh dragon fruit. In a dry martini, it provides a surprisingly fruity character. It also harmonizes with Asian-inspired dishes such as sushi, marinated fish or light rice dishes, where its exotic note is elegantly accentuated. An exciting interplay of flavors is created with fruity desserts such as mango sorbet or ginger cookies.
