Dewar's Aberfeldy Distillery, planned by John Dewar's sons in 1896 and opened in 1898, is the only Scottish whisky distillery built by the Dewar family. Under the direction of the renowned architect Charles Doig, the distillery with its characteristic pagoda roof was built in Highland Perthshire, close to the birthplace of John Dewar.
