At the heart of The Dalmore The Quartet lies the elaborate Four Cask Finish, which lends the whisky its distinctive complexity. Following initial maturation in classic ex-bourbon casks, the whisky is finished in rare 30-year-old Matusalem sherry casks, 30-year-old Apostoles sherry casks and fine Bordeaux Cabernet Sauvignon casks. This extraordinary combination brings out intense fruity notes, subtle spice and elegant wine-like undertones, without overshadowing the typical fruity, smooth Dalmore style. Tasting Note

Colour: Deep dark mahogany with ruby-coloured highlights.

Nose: Opulent aromas of dark fruits, candied orange, raisins, creamy caramel, vanilla and roasted nuts.

Palate: Full-bodied and velvety with ripe cherries, dark chocolate, espresso, dates, subtle spice and elegantly integrated oak.

Finish: Long-lasting and balanced with sweet fruit, spicy oak, dark cocoa and subtle, tannic Cabernet notes.
