The centrepiece of The Dalmore The Quartet is the elaborate four-cask finish, which gives the whisky its special complexity. After the initial maturation in classic ex-bourbon casks, the whisky is refined in rare 30-year-old Matusalem sherry casks, 30-year-old Apostoles sherry casks and fine Bordeaux Cabernet Sauvignon casks. This extraordinary combination produces intense fruity notes, fine spice and elegant wine flavours without masking the typical fruity-soft Dalmore style. Bottled at 41.5% and presented in a generous 1 litre bottle including gift box, this single malt whisky is aimed at discerning connoisseurs and collectors of exclusive bottlings.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep dark mahogany with ruby reflections.

Nose: Opulent aromas of dark fruits, candied oranges, sultanas, creamy caramel, vanilla and roasted nuts.

Flavour: Full-bodied and velvety with ripe cherries, dark chocolate, espresso, dates, fine spice and elegantly integrated oak.

Finish: Langs and balanced with sweet fruit, spicy oak, dark cocoa and subtly tannic Cabernet notes.
