Tasting Note

Colour: Dark gold with a hint of amber.

Nose: Powerful smoky and peaty notes intermingling with fruity aromas of tropical fruits, vanilla and caramel. A hint of rum cask-matured sweetness complements the complex aromas.

Palate: Full-bodied and intense, with dominant smoky peaty notes accompanied by sweet rum cask notes, cinnamon, toffee and warm oaky spice. A subtle hint of spice lends the whisky additional complexity.

Finish: Long and robust, with lingering smoky peat and a sweet rum cask note that gently lingers on the palate.

Smokehead Rum Rebel is ideal for enjoying neat, to experience its complex array of flavours. It can also be enjoyed wonderfully on the rocks or with a few drops of water to bring out the smoky and sweet notes even more intensely.
