Its slopes are home to some of the oldest vineyards in the world, from which the finest grapes for brandy production have been sourced for centuries.

The history of this brandy goes back a long way: back in the 10th century, during the reign of King Gagik I of the Bagratuni dynasty, a magnificent residence was built on Akhtamar Island. The name of the island comes from the tragic legend of Princess Tamar, whose lover drowned in Lake Van while desperately listening to her last words: "Ah, Tamar". This moving story is deeply rooted in Armenian culture and is reflected in the elegance and depth of this noble brandy.

The Ararat Yerevan 10 Years Old matures for 10 years in oak barrels, which gives it its complex structure, powerful flavour and impressive depth. The cask strength of 57% vol. emphasises its intense character and makes it an exceptional pleasure for brandy connoisseurs.
