Diese kraftvolle Abfüllung wurde speziell zur Feier des legendären Fèis Ìle – dem Islay Festival of Music and Malt – kreiert und stellt eine Hommage an die charaktervolle Whiskyinsel Islay dar. Jahr für Jahr bringt Douglas Laing zu diesem Anlass eine Sonderedition heraus – 2025 mit einem Jahrgang aus dem Jahr 2010, der in sorgfältig ausgewählten Refill Hogshead-Fässern reifen durfte.
Dieser Islay Blended Malt Scotch Whisky bringt die raue Seele Islays zum Ausdruck: mit kräftigem Charakter, vielschichtiger Raucharomatik und authentischer Herstellung. Abgefüllt wurde die Fèis Ìle 2025 Edition ohne Kühlfiltration und ohne Farbstoffe, in Small Batch-Auflage und mit kräftigen 50% Vol. Alkoholstärke. Die verwendeten Single Malts stammen ausschließlich von verschiedenen Brennereien der Insel Islay und spiegeln die volle Bandbreite des rauchig-maritim geprägten Stils wider, für den Big Peat berühmt ist. Mit einem Phenolgehalt von 40 PPM liefert diese Abfüllung ein besonders intensives Erlebnis für Torfrauch-Fans.
