The Foursquare Détente 10 Years Old is a limited bottling from the renowned Exceptional Cask Selection of the Foursquare Distillery in Barbados. As a classic single blended rum, it combines pot still and column still distillates, giving it remarkable depth, structure and elegance - a hallmark of Master Distiller Richard Seale's signature.
This edition was matured for a full 10 years in a tropical climate, using a combination of ex-Bourbon casks and ex-Port wine casks. The latter give the rum additional fruity and complex aromas without losing the oak spice and typical Barbados character. With an alcohol content of 51% vol., the Détente was bottled at cask strength - naturally without sugar, colorants or additives.
