The LAGG Small Batch Single Malt Scotch Whisky ex-Palo Cortado Sherry Cask 56.2% Vol. 0.7 l + GB is a powerful small batch bottling from the Lagg Distillery on the Isle of Arran in Scotland and is the world's first small batch edition from the distillery. Concerto barley is used for this characterful bottling, which is heavily peated in the drying process at around 50 ppm and thus characterizes the distillery's distinctive, smoky house style. The barley is crushed after delivery and processed into a cloudy mash in the mash tun, which gives the subsequent distillate a particularly oily and strong texture.
