The whisky is matured in heavily charred American white oak casks. These are stored in selected areas of the Buffalo Trace Lager warehouses, where seasonal temperature fluctuations ensure intensive maturation. The result: complex, deep flavours with structure and elegance.

Blanton’s was launched in 1984 under the guidance of Master Distiller Elmer T. Lee and was the first modern brand to be marketed as a single barrel bourbon – a milestone in the history of American whiskeys. It is named after Colonel Albert B. Blanton, who ran the Buffalo Trace Distillery for decades and was renowned for his exacting quality standards.

Blanton’s is produced at the historic Buffalo Trace Distillery in Kentucky – one of the oldest distilleries still in operation in the USA. Here, centuries-old craftsmanship meets modern technology.
