Buffalo Trace has been named "Distillery of the Year" on several occasions. The bourbon itself has won numerous gold medals, including at the San Francisco World Spirits Awards.

The bottle features the iconic bison logo – powerful yet stylish. The label has a classic, down-to-earth and authentic feel – reflecting the bourbon’s long history.

Buffalo Trace is distilled from a blend of maize, rye and barley and is aged for at least eight years in new, charred oak barrels. The bourbon is produced in small batches, without compromising on quality or flavour.

The distillery is increasingly focusing on sustainable production methods and environmental responsibility, for example through energy efficiency programmes and water management.

The Buffalo Trace Distillery is situated on the Kentucky River and is one of the oldest continuously operating whisky distilleries in the USA. The regional climate, with its hot summers and cold winters, promotes intensive ageing in American white oak.
