Del Maguey has received numerous international accolades, including the "Outstanding Spirit Producer Trophy" at the 2024 IWSC Awards. Vida Clásico was awarded a Double Gold Medal at the 2024 Bartender Spirits Awards.

Del Maguey Mezcal features minimalist labels that highlight the mezcal’s origins and artisanal character. Each bottle bears the name of the village from which it comes, thus telling the story of its origins.

Production follows traditional methods: the agave hearts are roasted over hot stones in earthen pits, then crushed using a tahona (stone wheel) and fermented in open vats with natural yeasts. Distillation takes place in small copper or clay stills, giving each mezcal a unique character.

Del Maguey is committed to sustainable practices, including biodiversity projects, reforestation and supporting local communities. The brand works closely with producer families to preserve traditional methods and protect the environment.

Del Maguey Mezcal comes from various villages in Oaxaca, including San Luis del Río, Chichicapa and Santa Catarina Minas. Each bottling reflects the specific terroir and traditional methods of the respective community.
