Collection: Espolon Tequila

Espolòn has won numerous awards – including at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, the Tequila Masters and the IWSC. The Reposado, in particular, is a favourite among connoisseurs.

Each bottle features an artistic label depicting the legendary rooster Ramón – inspired by the Mexican artist José Guadalupe Posada. The illustrations depict scenes from Mexico’s turbulent history, making every bottle a collector’s item.

Cirilo Oropeza combined traditional methods with modern technology: gentle steam distillation, slow fermentation and double distillation guarantee a pure, aromatic spirit – perfectly balanced between strength and finesse.

Espolòn is committed to resource-efficient production: agave waste is used as fertiliser, energy is used efficiently, and local employment is supported.

Produced in the ‘Altos’ region of Jalisco, Espolòn uses regional spring water drawn from deep underground. The highland region is renowned for its particularly aromatic agaves with a natural sweetness.

• Espolòn Blanco: Crisp, fresh and slightly peppery – with notes of tropical fruit, citrus and sweet agave.
• Espolòn Reposado: Aged for 2–6 months in American oak – with aromas of vanilla, caramelised agave and subtle toasted notes.
• Espolòn Añejo: Aged for 12 months – full-bodied with notes of chocolate, toasted wood, spices and candied fruit.
• Espolòn Cristalino: Filtered Añejo – crystal clear, velvety smooth with a delicate oak structure and elegant depth.
