The story of Hardy Cognac began in 1863, when the British entrepreneur Anthony Hardy travelled to the Charente and fell in love with the region. Inspired by the French way of life and the region’s world-class viticulture, he founded his own cognac brand. Since then, Hardy has become synonymous with premium cognac and remains family-owned to this day, now run by the fifth generation.

Traditional methods and high-quality ingredients

Hardy Cognac is made from the finest grapes of the Charente region. Distillation is carried out using traditional methods in copper stills to preserve the aromas as effectively as possible. Maturation in carefully selected oak casks gives the cognac its characteristic depth and complexity.

Sustainable production

Sustainability is a key priority at Hardy. The distillery operates in an energy-efficient manner and relies on renewable resources. Furthermore, all products are packaged in an environmentally friendly way and are fully recyclable.

Hardy VSOP

Hardy VSOP (Very Superior Old Pale) captivates with its delicate aromas of dried fruit and nuts, as well as a hint of vanilla and oak. This cognac is aged for at least four years in oak barrels, which gives it its depth and complexity.

Hardy XO

Hardy XO (Extra Old) is a mature cognac with intense aromas of dark chocolate, dried fruit and spices. This cognac is aged for at least ten years in oak barrels to develop its full flavour potential.

Hardy Noces d'Or

Hardy Noces d'Or is a special cognac created to mark the brand’s 50th anniversary. With its rich, complex bouquet and notes of honey, vanilla and spices, this cognac offers an exceptional taste experience.
