Collection: Knappogue Castle Whiskey

Knappogue Castle enjoys excellent reviews: the 12-year-old is renowned for its elegant lightness, whilst larger bottlings regularly receive high scores from critics – including 92 points at the Ultimate Beverage Challenge. Vintage bottles (1951, 36 years old) are traded as ‘archival treasures’.

The bottles feature a harmonious castle motif, with elegant labels ranging from light blue to dark blue for the older vintages – clean, sophisticated and evoking their Irish heritage.

The classic expression (12 years) is distilled in traditional stills and matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks. The longer-aged variants (14-year Twin Wood, 16-year Twin Wood) are also finished in Oloroso sherry casks – non-chill-filtered and with no added colouring.

Non-chill-filtered, with no artificial colourings – traditionally matured with clear vintage information – modern quality combined with the time-honoured Irish whiskey tradition.

An Irish single malt, triple-distilled in copper pot stills using grain from Ireland, matured in bourbon and/or sherry casks under the mild climate of the damp west of Ireland.
