Described by connoisseurs as “fresh, flowery, dry” – independent bottlings such as the 18-year-old “Manager’s Dram” receive very high ratings.

The official range consists mainly of the Flora & Fauna series – with the 12-year-old flagship edition being particularly notable. Independent casks are occasionally released exclusively through Signatory or Rites of Passage – bastions for collectors and whisky connoisseurs.

Mannochmore operates with a mash tun (12 tonnes), eight washbacks, three wash stills and three spirit stills – all indirectly steam-heated. Production takes place year-round, partly in rotation with Glenlossie, to ensure consistent quality.

As part of Diageo, Mannochmore adheres to the group’s sustainability standards. Water conservation and the recycling of residues via the dark grains plant are integral parts of this.

The distillery is situated in the renowned Speyside region, fed by the Bardon Burn and using unpeated malt. This mild spring water gives the whiskies their floral and fruity notes – a typical Speyside profile.

• Flora & Fauna 12 Years: Light, floral, with notes of vanilla, citrus and dry malt.
• Loch Dhu (discontinued): Cult single malt, deep dark, unusual – now a sought-after rarity.
• Signatory / Rites of Passage Single Casks: Cask-strength with fruity notes, herbs and subtle oak ageing.
