Papa’s Pilar rums have won numerous international awards and enjoy an excellent reputation for their quality and authenticity.

The bottles are reminiscent of canteens and feature details such as a metal chain and the Hemingway seal – a real eye-catcher with symbolic significance.

Under the guidance of Master Blender Ron Call, complex rums with depth are created. The Solera process allows for the harmonious blending of rums of different ages and cask types, resulting in a multi-layered flavour profile.

Papa’s Pilar is committed to protecting the oceans and supports projects aimed at restoring coral reefs. A portion of the proceeds goes towards environmental initiatives that carry on Hemingway’s legacy as a ‘citizen of the ocean’.

The rums come from countries such as the Dominican Republic, Panama, Venezuela and Barbados. In Key West, they are masterfully blended and aged in bourbon, port and sherry casks – a tribute to Hemingway’s travels around the world.
