Production takes place in small batches using classic copper stills, which allows for precise control of the distillation process and preserves the delicate aromas of the botanicals.

The gin is characterised by the use of innovative and carefully selected botanicals such as cinnamon, liquorice, pink pepper, ginger and citrus peel. Each ingredient is gently macerated to extract its natural essences before being blended in a complex, multi-stage process. A particularly distinctive feature: Roby Marton Gin is bottled unfiltered, giving it a deep, slightly cloudy colour and a particularly complex, intense aroma – a true one-of-a-kind among Italian gins.

Distillation process – double distillation and complex botanicals

The distillation process of Roby Marton Gin is characterised by its exceptional depth and complexity. The gin is produced in a two-stage process: first, the initial distillation takes place using a neutral alcohol base, to which a selection of botanicals has already been added. The 11 natural botanicals – including juniper, cinnamon, pink pepper, liquorice, ginger, citrus peel and other spices – are then carefully macerated in a prolonged infusion process.

This infusion takes place at cold temperatures over several days, gently extracting the essential oils and aromas and preserving them with particular intensity. This is followed by a second distillation, which combines all the components into a harmonious, aromatically dense final product. By foregoing filtration, the essence of the ingredients used is preserved, giving the gin its natural cloudiness and characteristic depth. This technically demanding process makes Roby Marton Gin one of Italy’s most complex gins.
