Complex aged rums such as Gran Reserva are highly regarded – elegant, rich in flavour and a testament to Dominican rum-making expertise.

Bottles with an elegant design featuring gold and black labels (Gran Reserva), and bold Caribbean-inspired designs for the flavoured varieties – tiger-inspired labels reflect their origins and diversity.

The range spans from young, clear rums (Blanco) to aged varieties (Añejo, Gran Reserva, Rebels) with an ageing period of 2–8 years. Each batch is carefully numbered and combines Caribbean craftsmanship with modern technology.

At Macorix House of Rum, tourists and rum enthusiasts can experience artisanal production, tastings and a modern guided tour at a sustainable distillery featuring a bar and shop.

Produced in the Dominican Republic: sugar cane is harvested during the November–April season, fermented into mash, distilled in column stills and then aged in ex-bourbon casks.

• Gran Reserva: Aged for eight years in a Solera system, with aromas of caramel, vanilla, spices and oak – harmonious and velvety.
• Añejo: Aged for 2–5 years, with notes of amber, brown sugar and subtle fruit.
• Rebels: Spiced dark rum with cinnamon, vanilla and honey – perfect for mixed drinks and long drinks.
• Blanco: Clear, light, ideal for mojitos and Cuba Libres.
• Flavored Linie: Tropical varieties such as Coco Splash, Cool Piña, Appletini – fresh and refreshing.
• Aqua de Coco & Mamajuana: Regionally inspired specialities with unique flavour profiles.
