Selection of raw materials

The production of Mulata Rum begins with the careful selection of the finest Cuban sugar cane. Only the highest quality sugar cane is used in rum production to meet the brand’s high quality standards.

Distillation process

After harvesting, the sugar cane is pressed and the juice fermented. The fermented juice is then distilled in traditional copper stills to produce a pure and flavourful rum.

Ageing in oak barrels

Mulata rum is aged in selected oak barrels to develop and refine its flavours. The duration of ageing varies depending on the product and can last several years.

Bottling and quality control
