Saint Aubin Rhum is distilled from fresh sugarcane juice, also known as ‘rhum agricole’. This method differs from the molasses-based process used by many other rums, giving the rum a particularly clear and fresh aroma. Distillation takes place in small batches in traditional copper stills, followed by careful ageing in oak casks, which gives the rum depth and complexity.
