Santa Teresa 1796 Rum is distilled from molasses and undergoes a three-stage ageing process: first, the various distillates are aged separately; then they are aged in Solera casks; and finally, they are aged in large French oak casks. This process gives the rum its exceptional smoothness and complexity.

Santa Teresa is committed to social causes through initiatives such as "Project Alcatraz", which offers former gang members a new outlook on life. Production is carried out sustainably and supports the local community.

Hacienda Santa Teresa is situated in the fertile Aragua Valley in Venezuela. The tropical climate and rich soil provide ideal conditions for growing sugar cane, the main ingredient in rum.
