Collection: Strathmill

Whilst Strathmill is considered an insider’s tip outside whisky circles, the original bottlings are enjoying growing popularity amongst connoisseurs. The 12-year-old is regarded as the entry-level expression in the Flora & Fauna series, whilst the 25-year-old is considered a collector’s item.

The Flora & Fauna series embodies understated, classic British design. The labels feature illustrations of animals associated with each distillery – in the case of Strathmill, a woodpecker – thereby conveying a sense of connection to nature and the individual character of each distillery.

Distillation takes place in four traditional copper stills. The whiskies are matured in selected bourbon and sherry casks. Characteristic features include an oily texture, a mellow body and gentle spiciness – ideal for lovers of elegant, subtle whiskies.

The Strathmill Distillery is located in Keith, in the heart of Speyside, and was founded in 1891. The region is famous for its fruity and approachable single malts. Strathmill uses the clear waters of the River Isla and unpeated barley malt for its whiskies.

• Strathmill 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 43% ABV 0.7l: Floral, fresh and well-balanced – aromas of grass, vanilla, citrus and honey, with a smooth finish.
• Strathmill 25 Years Old Cask Strength: A rarity at cask strength (52.4% ABV) – complex aromas of ripe fruit, honey, oak and spices, powerful and long-lasting.
