In 2024, "The English Sherry Cask" was named the world’s best single malt at the World Whiskies Awards – a milestone for English whisky.

The clean, elegant bottle design reflects its British heritage. Each bottling bears the name "The English", supplemented by specific designations such as "Original" or "Smokey".

Traditional methods and modern sustainability go hand in hand: the whiskies are filtered without cooling, are uncoloured and mature in selected casks. Distillation takes place in copper stills, using local barley and water.

The distillery prioritises environmentally friendly processes: recycling cooling water, using by-products as animal feed and sourcing local raw materials all help to minimise its environmental footprint.

The distillery is located in Roudham, Norfolk, a region renowned for its top-quality barley and pure water from the Breckland aquifer. These local resources give the whiskies their unique character.
