During the colder months, after afternoon and late evening walks (with the dog), Jagertee (a type of mulled wine) is a pleasant way to warm up! The recommended mixing ratio should be slightly reduced, otherwise it will have too strong a effect! 😀
Delicious as an aperitif with ice and lemon! Could use a little less sugar. Tastes great!
The first sip might take some getting used to because it's very spicy. This makes it unsuitable for a good rum and Coke.
With the second sip, you can really appreciate the spiciness and smooth, mellow depth. From then on, this rum became one of my favorites. The price is also right. Highly recommended, especially for enjoying neat.
In my opinion, this rum tastes perfect. Neat, it has a pleasant sweetness; you can really taste the port wine casks, and it's smooth and well-rounded. I highly recommend it. I haven't tried it in cocktails yet, but it was perfect for a particular sour recipe.

This rum was my favorite for a long time. Pleasantly light sweet, well-rounded flavor. Perfect for drinking neat, but also for mixing. Okay, in my opinion, it wasn't suitable for rum and cola.
But since last year, the taste has changed drastically. The light, pleasant sweetness and the smoothness are completely gone. I can only taste a "medicinal" flavor now; I can't describe it any other way.
At first I thought, OK, that can happen with one bottle. But now, after 10 months, I've had three bottles like this. You can even taste it in cocktails.
I can no longer recommend it, and I won't buy it again. It's a real shame.
