The Torres Viña Esmeralda Mediterranean 2024 is a fragrant, light-footed white wine that makes the sunny character of the Mediterranean tangible in every bottle. Produced by the renowned Torres family winery, which has stood for quality, innovation and sustainability in Spanish viticulture for generations, this wine pays homage to the aromatic diversity of the coastal region of Catalonia.

The cuvée usually consists of Muscat d'Alexandrie and Gewürztraminer - two aromatic Regele grape varieties that find ideal conditions in the rolling hills of the Mediterranean. The 2024 vintage is characterised by its freshness, floral elegance and a charming, slightly exotic note. The wine is gently matured in stainless steel tanks to fully preserve the primary fruit and floral aromas. The moderate alcohol content of 11.5% vol. makes Viña Esmeralda a particularly light and accessible white wine - perfect for summer moments and Mediterranean joie de vivre.

Its name - "Esmeralda" - refers to the green colour of the Mediterranean, which characterises this wine not only geographically but also in terms of taste: fresh, fragrant, floral.

Tasting Note

In the glass, Viña Esmeralda has a light straw yellow colour with slightly greenish reflections. The nose is captivating with intense floral notes, particularly of orange blossom, white roses and jasmine, accompanied by ripe lychee, nutmeg and a hint of exotic fruit. On the palate, the wine is soft, aromatic and pleasantly light, with a fine fruit sweetness, well-integrated acidity and a fresh, charming finish that makes you want to savour the next sip.

Viña Esmeralda is the ideal accompaniment to light summer cuisine, Mediterranean starters, seafood or Asian-inspired dishes with a sweet and sour flavour.
