Se Busca Mezcal Artesanal Añejo 40% Vol. 0.7 l is a super-premium mezcal that reflects the tradition and cultural diversity of Mexico in every bottle. Made from 100% Agave Augustifolia Espadín, one of the noblest agave varieties used for mezcal production, this Añejo combines a masterful production technique with a deep connection to Mexico's history. The name "Se Busca", which means "sought" in Spanish, is reminiscent of the courageous women who fought shoulder to shoulder with the Manners in the Mexican Revolution. This mezcal carries a message of strength and resilience that reflects both the history and culture of Mexico.

The mezcal is roasted in traditional stone ovens and then distilled in copper pot stills to ensure a unique and authentic flavour experience. After distillation, the Se Busca Mezcal Añejo matures for at least 18 months in oak barrels, which gives it a wonderful complexity and depth of flavour. The alcohol content of 40 % vol. makes it ideal for pure enjoyment or as a base for fine cocktails.

Tasting Note

Colour: Golden brown with deep amber reflections.

Nose: Intense smoke, combined with vanilla, caramel and fine oak notes.

Flavour: Full-bodied and rich, with a balanced blend of smoky agave, sweet caramel and vanilla notes as well as a fine wood and spice complexity.

Finish: Langs and warm, with a gentle smoky flavour and a hint of toffee and oak that lingers for a long time.

Se Busca Mezcal Artesanal Añejo is ideal for drinking straight, especially at room temperature or slightly chilled, to bring out its deep and complex flavours.
