Glenkinchie 12 Years Old is an exceptionally smooth and elegant single malt Scotch whisky from the Scottish Lowlands. With an alcohol content of 43% ABV, it impresses with its light, floral aromas and a gentle sweetness, making it the perfect introduction to the world of Scotch whiskies. It is distilled at the historic Glenkinchie Distillery, around 25 kilometres from Edinburgh, and is one of Scotland’s few remaining Lowland distilleries.

After 12 years’ maturation in oak casks, this whisky develops a harmonious flavour profile with notes of malt, honey and fresh herbs. Its mild structure and velvety character make it particularly approachable and pleasant to drink – both neat and with a few drops of water to release further delicate flavours.

Tasting Note

Colour: Pale gold.

Nose: Fresh, floral and slightly sweet with notes of honey, malt, green apples and a hint of vanilla.

Palate: Smooth and round with flavours of sweet malt, lemon zest, heather, honey and a hint of spices.

Finish: Medium-length, dry with subtle notes of oak and herbs.
