Amaro Averna Siciliano 29% ABV 0.7 l is one of the best-known Italian herbal liqueurs and is regarded as a true icon amongst traditional amari. Since 1868, Amaro Siciliano has been produced according to a recipe that is still strictly guarded today and which dates back to Don Salvatore Averna. According to legend, he received the recipe as a special gift from the Benedictine monk Fra Girolamo, who had developed a secret blend of natural Sicilian and Mediterranean ingredients. To this day, the liqueur is produced exclusively from carefully selected herbs, roots, spices and citrus fruits, and embodies Sicily’s authentic culture of indulgence.
