Lillet Blanc 17 % ABV 0.75 l is an elegant, aromatic aperitif wine from France, which has been produced since 1872 in the small village of Podensac near Bordeaux. It is based on carefully selected white wines from the Bordeaux region, which are enhanced with natural fruit liqueurs and macerates of citrus fruits and delicate herbs. The result is a fresh, balanced and versatile aperitif that delights whether enjoyed on its own or in creative cocktails.

The golden-yellow cuvée combines aromatic freshness with a slight sweetness and a subtle hint of bitterness in the background – a hallmark that makes Lillet Blanc so distinctive. With an alcohol content of 17% vol., it offers an expressive yet pleasantly smooth style. It can be cellared for up to 3 years, although it reveals its full aromatic potential when drunk fresh and young.

Tasting Note

In the glass, Lillet Blanc glows with a clear golden-yellow colour. On the nose, aromas of candied orange, fresh citrus fruits, honey, exotic fruits and a subtle herbal note unfold. On the palate, it is fresh, fruity and slightly sweet, with harmoniously integrated acidity and a gently bitter, long finish reminiscent of citrus zest and blossom.

Lillet Blanc is ideal as an aperitif and is a popular base for cocktails such as the Lillet Vive (with tonic water, cucumber, mint and strawberries) or the Lillet Spritz. Served neat over ice with a slice of orange, it is a true classic. Culinary pairings include seafood, light summer salads, goat’s cheese, sushi or fruity desserts. Serving temperature: enjoy well chilled at 6–8 °C – particularly refreshing on warm days.
