Lillet Blanc 17% vol. 0.75 litre is an elegant, aromatic aperitif wine from France that has been produced in the small town of Podensac near Bordeaux since 1872. It is based on carefully selected white wines from the Bordeaux region, which are refined with natural fruit liqueurs and citrus fruit macerates as well as fine herbs. The result is a fresh, well-balanced and versatile aperitif that will delight both on its own and in creative cocktails.

The golden yellow cuvée combines aromatic freshness with a slight sweetness and a subtle bitter note in the background - a trademark that makes Lillet Blanc so unmistakable. With an alcohol content of 17% by volume, it offers an expressive but pleasantly soft style. It can be stored for up to 3 years, whereby it unfolds its full flavour when drunk fresh and young.

Tasting Note

Lillet Blanc shines in the glass in a clear golden yellow colour. The nose reveals aromas of candied oranges, fresh citrus fruits, honey, exotic fruits and a fine herbal note. On the palate, it is fresh, fruity and slightly sweet, with harmoniously integrated acidity and a gently bitter, long finish reminiscent of citrus zest and flowers.

Lillet Blanc is ideal as an aperitif and is a popular base for cocktails such as Lillet Vive (with tonic water, cucumber, mint and strawberries) or Lillet Spritz. Served neat on ice with a slice of orange, it is a real classic. It harmonises well with seafood, light summer salads, goat's cheese, sushi or fruity desserts. Serving temperature: enjoy well chilled at 6-8 °C - particularly refreshing on warm days.
