Spitz Obstler 35% vol. 1 l is a classic fruit brandy from Austria, characterised by its high quality and authentic fruit flavours. The S. Spitz company, which was founded by Salomon Spitz in Linz in 1857, has built up an excellent reputation over the years. In 1935, the production site was moved to Attnang-Puchheim, and over time the product range was constantly expanded. After the Second World War, the company changed hands, but continued to expand its distribution and brought its spirits and fruit juices onto the market throughout Austria. In 2007, the company proudly celebrated its 150th anniversary.

Spitz Obstler is made from the best local fruit and with an alcohol content of 35% vol. it offers a fruity, mild enjoyment experience. The Obstler is ideal as a digestif or in various mixed drinks and cocktails. The high quality and careful production make this fruit schnapps a popular choice for connoisseurs and gourmets.

Tasting Note

Colour: Clear, with a slight shimmer.

Nose: Intensely fruity, apple aromas, delicate pear notes, a hint of plum.

Flavour: Mild, balanced, full-bodied with a harmonious blend of apple, pear and apricot.

Finish: Smooth, long-lasting, fruity and slightly sweet.

Spitz Obstler is an ideal accompaniment to savoury cheese, grilled meat or a cheese platter. It is excellent in a fruit schnapps spritz with soda and a slice of lemon. For cocktails, it is suitable as the basis for a fruity "Obstler Fizzers" with lemon and a splash of mineral water. A wonderful digestif after a meal or for socialising.
