The apples used to make Strongbow are grown specifically to produce a crisp and refreshing cider. However, Strongbow’s true success lies in its ability to bring out the natural flavour of these apples and make every sip a special experience.
The apples are harvested at the ideal stage of ripeness and taken to the production plant, where they are thoroughly washed and crushed. The resulting fruit pulp is pressed to extract the pure apple juice, which is then concentrated and stored. The fructose in the apples acts as a natural preservative.
The concentrated apple juice is then subjected to a careful fermentation and ageing process, during which the delicate flavours can develop to their full potential. This meticulous processing brings out the natural, refreshing flavour of Strongbow Cider, which delights enthusiasts worldwide.
