Tasting Note

Colour: Deep mahogany brown with golden highlights.

Nose: Complex herbal notes, subtle hints of cinnamon, orange peel, star anise, liquorice and a slight sweetness.

Palate: Full-bodied, spicy-sweet, a harmonious blend of herbs, cinnamon, cloves, orange peel and subtle bitter notes.

Finish: Lang, warm, slightly bitter with a pleasant sweetness and spicy aftertones.

Jägermeister is traditionally enjoyed ice-cold as a shot to bring out its intense flavours. It really comes into its own in mixed drinks, for example in a Jägermeister Mule with ginger beer and lime, or in a Jägermeister Tonic with lemon zest. It is also a true classic in cocktails such as the Jäger Bomb, mixed with an energy drink.
