Tasting Note

Colour: Pale gold with amber highlights.

Nose: Fruity notes of apples and pears, accompanied by a hint of vanilla, honey and a slight sherry sweetness.

Palate: Full-bodied and well-balanced with flavours of ripe fruit, caramel, vanilla and a hint of oaky spice.

Finish: Long and smooth with a subtle sweetness and a hint of spicy wood.

Glenfarclas 12 Years Old is excellent enjoyed neat, at room temperature or slightly chilled. This whisky is also perfect in a classic whisky sour or an Old Fashioned. It is ideal with light starters, such as smoked salmon, or with cheese platters featuring mature cheeses. This whisky is also an excellent choice with desserts such as apple strudel or caramelised nuts.
