Tasting Note

Colour: Bright gold.

Nose: Mild and inviting with caramel, ripe banana, citrus zest, fresh corn, vanilla cream and a hint of coconut.

Flavour: Soft, round and creamy with toffee, toasted wood, tropical fruit, biscuit notes, cinnamon and fine spiced vanilla.

Finish: Medium length, harmonious and smooth with a light sweetness, dried fruit and subtle oak spice.

The Nikka Coffey Grain is ideal for drinking on its own or with a few drops of water to bring out the subtle nuances even more. Its complexity also makes it an excellent base for whisky cocktails with Japanese sophistication, such as the Whisky Highball or an elegant Old Fashioned with an Asian twist.
