Hödl Hof Original RASPBERRY Spirit 38% vol. 10 l is a high-quality, aromatic raspberry spirit produced at the renowned Hödl Hof distillery in Styria. Situated amongst orchards and vineyards in this idyllic region, this distillery has been synonymous with excellent spirits for generations. The spirit is produced using state-of-the-art methods and traditional techniques, which guarantee high quality. The raspberry spirit is refined using a 300-litre ‘Raubrand’ still and a 200-litre ‘Feinbrand’ still, both made of pure copper, to perfectly extract its characteristic aromas.

The fruit used for this spirit comes from the orchards of the Hödl Hof Distillery, as well as from the Stelzer family in Stubenberg am See. Only the ripest and most aromatic raspberries are picked by hand and taken fresh to the distillery immediately to preserve their full flavour. The raspberries are macerated in neutral wheat spirit before undergoing a gentle, temperature-controlled fermentation. Fermentation is followed by a double distillation, during which only the high-proof ‘heart’ of the distillate is extracted. This raspberry spirit is then matured in wood, glass or stainless steel to refine the flavours.

Tasting Note

Palate: Fruity and aromatic with a distinct raspberry note, accompanied by a slight sweetness and a hint of freshness.

The Hödl Hof Original RASPBERRY Spirit is ideal as a digestif to be enjoyed after a meal. It can be enjoyed neat or on the rocks to experience the fresh raspberry aromas in all their splendour. This spirit pairs particularly well with fresh berry desserts or the finest dark chocolate, which complement its flavours wonderfully.
