Tasting Note

Colour: Crystal clear with subtle highlights.

Nose: Intense notes of aniseed, accompanied by a slight sweetness and a hint of herbs, complemented by subtle notes of vanilla and citrus.

Palate: Smooth and harmonious with a dominant aniseed flavour, supported by a delicate herbal sweetness and a pleasant spiciness from other ingredients such as cinnamon and coriander.

Finish: Long-lasting, with a soft, sweet aniseed note that unfolds gently on the palate.

Ramazzotti Sambuca is excellent enjoyed neat, either at room temperature or slightly chilled. It reveals its flavours in a refreshing way, particularly when served over ice. For the classic ‘Sambuca con la Mosca’, serve it garnished with three coffee beans.

In cocktails, it is excellent as an ingredient in after-dinner drinks, for example in a Sambuca Martini or a Sambuca Sour, where it lends the drink a sweet, spicy note.
