Olmeca Altos Tequila Plata 100% Agave is a clear, unaged tequila from Mexico, produced entirely from 100 per cent Blue Weber agave. As a Plata, this bottling places particular emphasis on the original character of the cooked agave. Olmeca Altos was developed with a clear focus on the international bar scene and has established itself in particular as a versatile tequila for margaritas and palomas. Its profile combines the characteristic sweetness of cooked agave with fresh citrus notes and a balanced herbal note. With an alcohol content of 38 per cent, this tequila is both structured and approachable.


Altos Plata is produced in the Los Altos de Jalisco region, renowned for its tequila production. The traditional processing of the agaves plays an important role for the brand, with cooked agave forming the flavour core of the distillate. As this Plata tequila is not characterised by extended cask ageing, its fresh, herbal and citrus-driven characteristics remain particularly prominent. Colour: Clear.

Nose: Cooked agave, candied orange and fresh citrus notes, complemented by gentle vanilla, caramel and subtle woody undertones.

Palate: Balanced and fresh, with cooked agave, zesty lime, sweet lemon and lime notes, and subtle herbal nuances.

Finish: Clean and lingering, with fresh lime, subtle agave sweetness and delicately tart herbal notes.

Olmeca Altos Tequila Plata is ideal served neat and slightly chilled, as well as in classic tequila cocktails. It is particularly recommended as the base for a Margarita with fresh lime juice and orange liqueur, or a Paloma with grapefruit and lime. Culinary pairings: its fresh agave and citrus character harmonises well with tacos, ceviche, grilled prawns or guacamole. This 100 per cent agave tequila also provides a versatile base for summer gatherings and larger cocktail parties.
