Fox terriers are known for being sweet and rather mischievous dogs, and the Douglas Laing family’s fox terriers are no exception.

Scallywag captures these characteristics and, as the name itself suggests, is the ‘little rascal’ amongst the Douglas Laing bottlings.

An explosion of rich dark fruits, chocolate and spices, interwoven with a hint of vanilla, created by a blend of matured Speyside single malts, predominantly aged in Spanish sherry casks.

This Scallywag Speyside is matured in Spanish sherry butts and bourbon hogsheads and is then bottled in small, precious batches.

Tasting Note

Colour: Amber.

Nose: Sweet, icing sugar, vanilla, raisins, a hint of ginger and grain.

Palate: Sweet, dark chocolate, vanilla, a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg.

Finish: Long-lasting, with notes of orange, tobacco and cocoa.
