Description
Grappa di Julia Invecchiata comes from Friuli in Italy.
The pomace, obtained from the distillation of the grapes, is gently distilled in copper stills and then transferred to a small oak cask.
The 12-month ageing process in the oak cask gives the grappa its golden colour and mellow aroma.
The distillate is made from the finest locally grown red grapes.
These include grape varieties such as Malvasia, Sangiovese and Cabernet, which ensure a fine, mature grappa.
This brilliant golden gem has a smooth flavour and an elegant bouquet with fruity and woody notes.
